ACP proactively converts existing facilities to high-efficiency LED lighting on a rolling basis. These lighting upgrades reduce electricity consumption by up to 70%, enhance illumination quality, and extend fixture lifespan, lowering both carbon output and maintenance needs.

• Programmable & Smart Thermostat Deployment

All modernizations and new tenant turnovers include programmable thermostats that optimize HVAC efficiency. These systems reduce energy waste by adjusting temperatures based on occupancy and operational needs, lowering overall utility demands.

• High-Efficiency Building Envelopes for All New Construction

Every new ACP development features enhanced R-value insulation in both walls and roofs, reducing heating and cooling loads year-round. This approach not only improves energy performance but also reduces long-term operating costs for tenants. ACP also offers the option to add EV-charging infrastructure to the tenants of a new development.

• Upgrading Heating Systems to High-Efficiency Gas Furnaces

Where appropriate and beneficial for energy reduction, we replace older electric heating systems with high-efficiency gas furnaces. These conversions deliver significant reductions in energy use and carbon output while providing reliable comfort for tenants.

• Solar Energy Pilot Project Slated

ACP is preparing to launch our first solar pilot installation. The goal is to expand renewable energy production across the portfolio, with the long-term intention of offering solar-integrated facilities to tenants seeking lower operational emissions and more predictable energy costs.
